DU Admission 2026 Seat Allocation: Sports, ECA, ITEP — Accept by 13 August
Delhi University (DU) has released seat allocation covering the Sports, Extracurricular Activities (ECA), and Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) quotas, alongside the Round 3/upgrade UG schedule, on 12 August 2026. Candidates allotted seats must accept and pay fees by 13 August 2026.

Sports and ECA Quota
DU reserves 5% of a college’s sanctioned seats collectively for Sports and ECA quotas, split typically 1–4% each. For 2026-27, around 1,370 supernumerary ECA seats span 14 categories like Indian Classical Dance, Theatre, NCC, NSS, and Photography. Combined, Sports and ECA account for roughly 3,291 seats. ECA selection uses a Combined ECA Merit score: 75% ECA certificate/trial performance, 25% CUET UG score.
ITEP Admission
ITEP is a four-year dual-major undergraduate programme combining teacher education with a discipline major under NEP 2020. Admission is based purely on NCET 2026 scores (not CUET UG). Registration closed 4 August 2026; correction window ran 5–6 August 2026. The first ITEP allotment list is expected in August 2026, with an exact date not yet confirmed.

How to Accept Your Seat
Visit admission.uod.ac.in or ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
Log in with your CUET/NCET credentials.
Go to your quota’s seat allotment section.
Click ‘Accept,’ upload documents, and pay the confirmation fee.
Download and retain your fee receipt before 13 August 2026.
13 August 2026, for Sports, ECA, ITEP, and Round 3/upgrade allottees.
Is ITEP based on CUET or NCET?
Purely on NCET 2026 scores, not CUET UG.
How many seats fall under Sports and ECA combined?
Approximately 3,291 seats.
Can I apply for ECA/Sports via mid-entry?
No — mid-entry registration isn’t permitted for ECA, Sports, CW, Ward Supernumerary, or performance-based courses.
Since unaccepted seats may be treated as vacant after the deadline and DU has said vacant Sports/ECA seats won’t automatically convert to another category, don’t delay confirming your seat if you intend to take it.
