The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has invited online applications for the Veterinary Pharmacist Main Examination (PET-2025)/18, covering 1,308 posts under the Directorate of Animal Husbandry. Who Can Apply
Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and hold a valid (non-zero, non-negative) normalized score are eligible. Shortlisting for the Main Exam is done category-wise, up to 15 times the advertised vacancies, based on the normalized PET-2025 score.
Eligibility
High School and Intermediate (Biology stream) from UP Board or equivalent, along with a 2-year 3-month Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy from a legally established university/institution. Council registration is currently not required, since the Veterinary Pharmacy Council does not yet exist in Uttar Pradesh. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script is also required.
Age Limit
18 to 40 years, as on 1 July of the notified vacancy year, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates and a 5-year relaxation for UP government employees.

- Part-1: Subject Knowledge (15 topics — Anatomy, Livestock Management, Pharmacology, Clinical Medicine, Surgical Procedures, etc.) — 65 marks

- Part-3: General Knowledge of Uttar Pradesh — 20 marks
- Total: 100 objective questions, 100 marks, 2 hours, ¼ mark negative marking per wrong answer
