Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai has opened applications for 1,010 Act Apprentice seats across Carpenter, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Painter, Welder, MLT, and PASAA trades, open to both Freshers and Ex-ITI candidates. Applications run 8 August to 7 September 2026.

Eligibility
Freshers (Fitter/Electrician/Machinist): Std X with min. 50% marks, Science & Maths.
Freshers (Carpenter/Painter/Welder): Std X with min. 50% marks.
Freshers (MLT): Std XII with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
Ex-ITI: Std X with 50% marks plus a National Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) of one year or above in the relevant trade.
Applicants must be resident and/or registered with a Tamil Nadu Employment Exchange.
Age Limit (as on 7 September 2026)
ITI candidates: 15 to 24 years
Non-ITI candidates: 15 to 22 years
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD
Stipend
Freshers, Class 10th pass-outs: ₹8,200/month
Freshers, Class 12th pass-outs: ₹9,600/month
Ex-ITI certificate holders: ₹9,600/month
10% increase in the second year of training
Application Fee
₹100 plus service charges for General/OBC
No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates
Selection Process
Merit list based on Std X marks. Freshers choose trade preferences, allotted by merit and vacancy availability; Ex-ITI candidates train in their certified trade. Selection is followed by document verification and a medical fitness check.

Fill in your details and upload a passport photo (max 200 KB, jpg/jpeg).
Note your system-generated Registration ID (password is your DOB in ddmmyyyy format).
Pay the processing fee online, if applicable.
Submit and print the system acknowledgement — required at document verification.
