Documents to Carry
Printed DET admit card
Original valid photo ID (Aadhaar/Voter ID/PAN/Driving License)
Original LMV or HMV driving license — required for the driving test itself
Your original LMV or HMV driving license, matching the vehicle category being tested.
What is the selection process after DET?
Document Verification, followed by a Medical Examination.
Since the DET actually tests your driving, make sure your license is current and matches the correct vehicle category before exam day — an expired or mismatched license could disqualify you on the spot.
