Eligibility

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final-year candidates may apply provisionally but must prove graduation by 31 December 2026. This drive is specifically for SC, ST, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates against backlog vacancies.

Local Language Requirement

You must select one State/UT and be proficient in its local language. Candidates who studied that language at Class 10 or 12 are exempt from the language test; others must qualify a Local Language Proficiency Test before joining.

Salary

Starting Basic Pay of ₹26,730 (₹24,050 plus two advance increments for graduates). Total starting emoluments at a metro like Mumbai run to approximately ₹46,000/month including allowances.

Selection Process

Phase I: Online Preliminary Exam (100 marks, 1 hour) — English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning
Phase II: Online Main Exam (200 marks, 2 hours 40 minutes) — General/Financial Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude
Phase III: Local Language Proficiency Test, where applicable
Negative marking: 1/4 mark deducted per wrong answer in both exams
Final merit is based on Main Exam marks only — Prelims marks aren’t carried forward
