Eligibility
- Must be a serving Anganwadi Sevika with 10 years of continuous, unbroken regular service as on 1 January 2025.
- Must hold a degree from a statutory university.
- Age must not exceed 50 years as on 1 January 2025 (born after 1 January 1975) — this revised limit follows a Nagpur Bench High Court order dated 8 May 2026, replacing the earlier 45-year cap.
Post-Appointment Requirements
Selected Mukhyasevikas must clear a computer proficiency exam and the Marathi language exam within 2 years of joining, and the Hindi language exam within 3 years — annual increments and further promotion are held back until these are cleared.
