Eligibility
A medical qualification recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, along with a postgraduate qualification such as MD/MS, or an equivalent recognized qualification. Super-specialty subjects additionally require an M.Ch. (surgical) or D.M. (medical) qualification. Experience requirements range from 3 years post-MD/MS (Assistant Professor) up to 14 years (Professor), varying by specialty and super-specialty track.

Salary
On Direct Recruitment/Deputation basis, pay ranges from Level-12 (₹1,01,500–1,67,400, Assistant Professor) to Level-14-A (₹1,68,900–2,20,400, Professor) under the 7th CPC, plus NPA and allowances. On Contract basis, remuneration ranges from ₹1,42,506/month (Assistant Professor) to ₹2,20,000/month (Professor).

Selection Process
